Today was a fun filled day, and closure to the Robo GP Challenge that Raffles Institution Computer Science Club has proudly organized for 10 primary schools. A Robo racer is a mechanical racing robot that looks like a mini car with the size of your outstretched palm and its job is to race around the track in the best timing. Over the past 2 wednesdays and fridays, 10 schools came and I taught them the robo racer skill: how to programme, run, download, configure etc. On the competition day, I was the emcee and it has been very fun. The kids were good, overall results: 3rd: Meetoh School 2nd: Kheng Cheng School and 1st: Nan Hua, with a timing of 9.85 sec. That was considered slow compared to us as we can clock a timing of 9.15 sec. Lol, we are sec 3s and they are pri sch kids lol... Firstly, I would like to thank teacher-in-charge Ms Xu, for the pizza eating, taxi fare claiming, helping, guidance and support towards us, and we made it. The exco, Xiang Jun, Willy and Shermond, for trying hard to be lamer than us but you failed, for all the advice, hard work, planning that you all have done for us. For that, and only for that and not your lameness, i applaud you all. Lastly, I would like to thank the whole robo racer team, especially for the photos we took together and the exciting but lame times we shared. Thank you Kevin, for all the organization and website, and for falling sick to pnuemonia on the competition day?! Thank you Jian yang, for all the tyre throwing, terence-laughing, organizing, laming, w**** fantasizing... Thank you Ben, for your good scolding at pri sch for playing games, your big open mouth to criticize chongmin with all those lame jokes, and for all the gaming times we shared together. Thank you terence, for being such a good joker, loser, lamer, everything, none of us can compete and do without you. And a biggest thank you to Chongmin, emceeing with me, programming, stupid matrix stunt moves, lamest jokes that i can hardly laugh at, teaching pri sch kids with extreme lame jokes, stupid bridge game strategies 4 No trumps... without all of you, there cannot be me at all. Thank you all once again, for all the gaming times, laming times, cardplaying times, laughing times, times when im up, times when im down, times when im bored, times when i just dun have the motivation to do work, you will be there, be there to crack a joke, make me laugh, show me the right way to success. Thank you guys.
